Registered Special Inspector

Full-Time | Inland Empire | On-Site
Prevailing Wage (Local 12 – $64.18–$67.96/hr + OT + Benefits)
Immediate openings for a 3–4 year industrial infrastructure program, offering steady work and overtime potential.
- Concrete testing
- Reinforcing steel inspection
- Post-installed anchor inspection
- Structural steel connections, including bolting, welding, and NDE
Requirements:
- Operating Engineers Local 12 member, or willing to join
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Commitment to field safety procedures
Preferred Certifications:
- ICC Reinforced Concrete
- ICC Post-Installed Anchors
- ICC Structural Steel and Bolting
- ICC Structural Welding
- ACI, AWS CWI, NDT, or similar certifications
Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer
Full-Time | Southern California
Compensation Range: $68,000 – $78,000
Field-based role (50%–80%) supporting geotechnical investigations, construction observation, and materials testing on active job sites.
- Drilling observation and logging of borings
- Hand auger and test pit observation
- Soil sampling and field documentation
- Infiltration testing, including double-ring and percolation tests
- Compaction testing using nuclear gauge and sand cone methods
- Pile installation and foundation observation
- Review of laboratory test results and preparation of field reports
Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering; 0–3 years experience
- EIT preferred
- Ability to quickly read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and field conditions
- Strong initiative, communication skills, and willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel throughout Southern California, with occasional travel to Central California
Soils / Field Technician
Hushmand Associates, Inc. (in partnership with Eaglepeak)
Full-Time | Inland Empire | On-Site
Prevailing Wage (Local 12 – $64.18–$67.96/hr + OT + Benefits)
- Compaction testing using nuclear gauge and sand cone methods
- Moisture and density verification
- Field documentation and daily reporting
- Coordination with contractors and project teams
Requirements:
- Operating Engineers Local 12 member, or willing to join
- Experience with soils testing preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work early mornings, varying construction schedules, and outdoor field conditions
- Ability to lift/carry equipment, approximately 50 lbs
