DOCS Surgical Hospital

The DOCS Surgical Hospital site is located on 6000 San Vicente Blvd in Los Angeles, California. The ongoing project consists of demolishing all existing structures replacing them with a proposed 5-story, steel framed hospital that will be located at the western portion and a parking lot at the eastern portion of the property. HAI conducted a geotechnical investigation via an exploratory soil boring with field and laboratory testing to provide engineering analyses for project geotechnical and foundation design recommendations. Additional work that was done included inspection services during the installation of shoring soldier piles, foundations, approval of imported material, grading, backfilling, and compaction in accordance with specifications. Quality work was ensured throughout the project.
