City of Watsonville Landfill Phase III Closure

Hushmand Associates, Inc. (HAI) provided comprehensive Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services for the Phase III Closure modification of the City of Watsonville Landfill in Santa Cruz County, California that included an improvement of the landfill gas piping system and installing 60-mil LLDPE geomembrane placed between the existing foundation layer and vegetative cover. The Phase III Closure spans approximately 14 acres.  Our team ensured that all construction activities adhered to the project’s drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements through routine monitoring and material testing.
