El Soberante Landfill Phase C2 Final Partial Closure

HAI provided Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services for the Phase C2 Partial Final Closure at El Sobrante Landfill in Riverside County, California. Due to habitat restoration requirements, the final cover was placed incrementally as waste placement reached the final grade. The Phase C2 Partial Final Closure encompassed approximately 10 acres and officially closed this landfill after completion. Our team ensured that the construction of the evapotranspirative (ET) final cover layer and foundation layers met all regulatory standards and project specifications.
