First Street Viaduct over Glendale Blvd.

HAI provided geotechnical design, environmental assessment, and laboratory testing for seismic retrofit and widening of existing 556-ft long First Street Viaduct over Glendale Boulevard in City of Los Angeles. The retrofit/widening consisted of designing CIDH piles, retaining walls, and recommendations for shoring. HAI is also providing CQA during installation of CIDH piles, installation of shoring systems, construction of retaining walls, testing/inspection of all backfilling, vibration monitoring services, and continuous environmental monitoring.
