City of Anaheim Nohl Canyon Water Tank Project

The Nohl Canyon Water Storage Tank was constructed in 2010. Prior to the tank being built, the water was held in an open reservoir. HAI was tasked with documenting ground deformations, field monitoring of the groundwater observation wells, and collected data via using a slope inclinometer and trends during periodic observations. HAI provided geotechnical recommendations based on the collected data to alleviate issues such as slope surface erosion and surficial instability.
