Settlement Distress Evaluation at MNWD Plant 3A

HAI provided geotechnical services to evaluate potential causes of ground surface settlement and developed mitigation measures to stop or minimize ground settlement. The services provided were field exploration, laboratory testing, analysis, and development of a mitigation plan. Some of the challenges in providing a solution included the many existing pipes, need for continued operation of the plant, repair schedule, and cost.
