Yorba Linda Water District Lakeview Reservoir Monitoring

The existing buried reservoir was commissioned in 2009 to replace two old steel tanks east of the site that was demolished during the reservoir’s construction. The buried reservoir is a reinforced concrete structure with a capacity of 8 million gallons and total footprint area of approximately 40,000 ft2. The site includes several ancillary structures such as inlet and outlet valve vaults, drainage valve vaults, underdrain observation vaults, reservoir access hatch and overflow, air gap discharge structures, and catch basin structures. HAI is tasked with ongoing monitoring on a semi-annual basis to observe and record trends of possible distress with geotechnical recommendations.
